Outline of method

Fenvalerate is separated from emulsifiers by column chromatography. The content of fenvalerate is determined by gas chromatography with flame-ionisation detection (FID) and with diphenyl phthalate as internal standard.

Scope

The method is unsuitable for the determination of the diastereoisomer ratio.

The method is usable for EC formulations. For the method see Handbook D.

The method is usable for WP, SC and WG formulations.
