Status new methods
CIPAC Methods, when proposed by a company or an organization get a first status (draft method) when they are discussed in a CIPAC Meeting. After having been accepted, they receive the status "provisional" in a following CIPAC Meeting, and finally they are accepted as full methods.
In addition, methods may be revised, especially in case of CIPAC MT's. Release of revised methods follow the same procedure by CIPAC.

DAPF document: Summary of New & Revised CIPAC MT methods
The purpose of the doucment was created and is maintained by DAPF to provide an overview of actual and older/superseded versions of MT methods.
This document is published on the CIPAC website as CIPAC sees the benefit to support registration applicants, authorities and regulatory bodies as well as control labs on the status of the most recent methods and versions. CIPAC is encouraging the use of the actual methods & versions. However, the German DAPF has created it and is fully responsible for its content and any amendment.
Further information about the German DAPF you find here.

Decisions of the 68th CIPAC meeting June 2024
The table "Decisions of the 68th CIPAC Meeting" presented below the methods which are either accepted as provisional or full methods. You can Download decisions here.
CIPAC no / Name | Description | Status | Published |
---|---|---|---|
1026 | The normal phase HPLC method (CIPAC/5359) for the determination of S-methoprene in technical materials was accepted as provisional CIPAC method as after the elimination of the results of laboratory 9 the recalculated results were within the relevant criteria. | provisional | |
400 | The capillary gas chromatographic method with FID, using internal standard chromatography with flame ionization detection, using dipentyl phthalate as internal standard (CIPAC/5335), for the determination of metolachlor in TC, EC and EW formulations was accepted as full CIPAC method with the remark that the new method supersedes the current method. | full | |
1025 | The reversed phase HPLC method (CIPAC/5349) for the determination of isocycloseram in TC and WP formulations was accepted as full CIPAC method. | full | |
33 | The extension of the gas chromatographic method CIPAC 33/LN/(M)/3 (CIPAC/5343) to the determination of PBO in coated insecticidal nets in the presence of deltamethrin was accepted as full CIPAC method. | full | |
MT 185.1 | The revision of methods MT 182 and MT 185 (CIPAC/5353) to combine into a single method for wet sieve test was accepted as full CIPAC method under the prerequisite that it supersedes both MT 182 and MT 185. | full | |
994 | The extension of the reversed phase HPLC method 994/TC/M/3 (CIPAC/5388) to the determination of broflanilide in UL formulations was accepted as provisional CIPAC method. | provisional | no |
415 + 570 + 33 | The capillary gas chromatographic method with split injection, using dioctyl benzene-1,2-dicarboxylate as internal standard (CIPAC/5390), for the determination of bifenthrin+chlorfenapyr+PBO in in long-lasting insecticide treated net (LN) was accepted as provisional CIPAC method considering the amendments in the description of the method. | provisional | no |
acetonitrile and 3-picoline in chlorantraniliprole | The capillary gas chromatographic method (CIPAC/5376) for the determination of the relevant impurities acetonitrile and 3-picoline in chlorantraniliprole TC and SC formulations was noticed and adopted with clarifications needed concerning the HorRat values. | adopted | no |
508 | The normal phase HPLC method (CIPAC/5396) for the determination of clethodim in TC, TK and EC formulations was accepted as provisional CIPAC method, with the remark that hexane is considered a toxic substance and with amendments of the used temperature. | provisional | no |
XXXX | The reversed phase HPLC method (CIPAC/5382) for the determination of coronatine in TC and SL formulations was accepted as provisional CIPAC method, pending on the clarification whether the data sets for SL1 and SL2 were calculated with the correct values. | provisional | no |
307 | The reversed phase HPLC method (CIPAC/5378) for the determination of gibberellic acid in TC formulations was accepted as provisional CIPAC method. | provisional | no |
1025 | The chiral HPLC method (CIPAC/5370) for the determination of the isomeric composition of isocycloseram in TC and WP formulations was accepted as chiral identity method with the need of clarification of the absorbtion coefficient of the isomers. | accepted | no |
494 | The capillary gas chromatographic method (CIPAC/5374) for the determination tebuconazole in TC, EC, EW, WP and SC formulations was accepted as provisional CIPAC method pending on the clarifications concerning the split ratio used and the right number of eliminated laboratories, requiring possible recalculation of the statistics. | provisional | no |
