37.1 Extraction with acetone

The active agent is extracted with acetone in a continuous extraction apparatus.

37.2 Extraction with petroleum spirit

37.3 Removal of solvents by distillation

The solvent is distilled off under vacuum, at room temperature, into a trap cooled with solid carbon dioxide. The residue is washed with water, and dried to constant weight.
